“Why are we here, and why does this matter?” That’s the question every team member should be able to answer. When everyone is connected to the same purpose, the team can move forward with a sense of meaning and unity.
2. Defined Roles and Interdependence
A team thrives on clarity, especially when it comes to roles. Each member should know exactly what their role is and how it fits into the bigger picture.
3. Psychological Safety and Trust
When team members trust each other, they’re more open to collaboration without fear. They know they won’t be ridiculed for a new idea or penalized for a misstep. This culture of psychological safety unlocks creativity and innovative problem-solving, essential ingredients for a high-functioning team.
4. Radical Transparency and Open Communication
